Pilgrimage is as old as civilization. Perhaps, because life itself is a journey, one can encounter God in new and profound ways while on pilgrimage. Pilgrims are those who hunger and thirst for holiness, so that by transforming themselves, they may contribute to the growth of the Kingdom of God in our world.
